Exchange & Cancellation Policy – Stanwells Kids

At Stanwells Kids, we are committed to delivering a smooth and trusted shopping experience. If you face any sizing issues or receive a damaged or defective item, the following policy outlines our guidelines for exchanges, refunds, cancellations, and dispatch timelines.

Important Notes

Refunds are not offered under regular conditions and are applicable only under specific cases mentioned in this policy.

For damaged or defective items, a return, refund, or replacement request must be initiated within 7 days of delivery.

A clear unboxing video is mandatory to claim a refund, replacement, or damage-related support. Claims without an unboxing video will be rejected.

For minor transit damage, such as a pearl coming off, embroidery bead damage, or thread breakage, the issue must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. A clear video showing the issue is required.

In eligible minor transit damage cases, Stanwells Kids will repair and resend the item without compromising the original quality. Stanwells Kids will bear the both-way transit costs in such cases.

A reverse shipping charge of ₹100 applies for exchange requests, if pickup is available.

Gift vouchers and shipping charges are non-refundable.

Customized products are:

• Not eligible for exchange or return.

• Not eligible for discounts.

Products must be unused and unwashed, with original tags and packaging intact. Washed, worn, used, damaged, or altered items will not be accepted.

Dispatch Time Period

At Stanwells Kids, around 97% of our products are made on demand. Once we receive an order, the product is usually made, processed, and prepared for dispatch.

Our normal dispatch time is usually 3–4 working days. However, dispatch time may vary depending on product type, stitching time, order volume, material availability, customization requirements, and other operational factors. In some cases, dispatch may take longer than expected, and we may not be able to predict the exact dispatch date in advance.

The dispatch timeline is separate from the courier delivery timeline. Delivery time may vary depending on the customer’s location, pincode, courier service availability, and transit conditions.

For urgent orders, customers must contact our support team before placing the order. Please share your required delivery date, location, and pincode with us so we can check the possibility of faster delivery or priority processing.

Fast shipping, flight shipping, or priority dispatch is available only after confirmation from our support team. Such services are not applicable to regular orders unless confirmed in advance.

Additional charges may apply for priority processing, fast shipping, or flight shipping. Customers should place urgent orders only after receiving confirmation from Stanwells Kids.

Non-Exchangeable / Non-Refundable Products

The following products are not eligible for exchange or refund:

• Certain heavy products

• Ready to Ship items

• Lucky Sizes items

• Customized or personalized products

Couture Collection Products

For products under the Couture Collection category, exchanges are allowed only for fitting issues.

The item can be exchanged for the same design in a different size. Exchange for a different design is not applicable.

Please double-check the size chart, product description, and delivery timeline before placing your order.

Exchange Policy

Exchange requests must be made within 7 days of delivery.

Products must be in their original condition, unused and unwashed, with tags and packaging intact.

To request an exchange, you may:

• Fill out the online exchange form, or

• Email us at info@stanwellskids.in with the following details:

  • Order ID

  • Reason for exchange

  • Clear photos or video, if applicable

Accepted reasons for exchange include:

• Size issues

• Wrong item received

• Damaged or defective product

Exchange Terms & Charges

A reverse pickup charge of ₹100 applies for exchange requests. This charge will be waived if the customer self-returns the product.

If reverse pickup is unavailable in your area, you must self-return the product and share the tracking ID with us.

If the exchange item is of lower value, the balance amount will be issued as a gift voucher, valid for 3 months.

Gift vouchers and discount codes cannot be used on exchange orders.

For Couture Collection products, only size exchange is allowed. Design change is not permitted.

Some heavy items are limited to same-item exchange only.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds are applicable only if the item received is damaged, defective, or broken, subject to verification and approval by Stanwells Kids.

Please note:

• Gift vouchers are non-returnable.

• Shipping charges are non-refundable.

• Self-return courier costs are non-refundable.

Refund Process & Timeline

Returned products will go through a quality check after we receive them.

Please allow 7–10 days for the returned product to reach us.

Once the return is approved after quality check, the refund will be processed within 7–15 working days to the original payment method.

Order Cancellation Policy

Orders can be cancelled within 5 hours of placement, provided the order has not already been sent for production, stitching, packing, or shipping.

Cancellations will not be accepted in the following cases:

• If the order has already been sent for production or stitching, including cases where the customer has requested immediate processing.

• If the product is Ready to Ship, part of Lucky Sizes, or a Customized order.

• If the order has already been packed or shipped.

If your cancellation is approved within the eligible cancellation window, a 5% payment gateway transaction fee will be deducted from your refund.

If a cancellation request is made after production has begun and is accepted only due to a valid emergency, a 7% restocking fee will be deducted to cover material, handling, and processing costs.

Approved cancellation refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days to the original payment method.

Product Disclaimer

All product photographs may slightly vary in color from the actual product due to lighting conditions, photography, or screen settings.

Product embellishments such as embroidery, beads, pearls, stones, or other detailing may slightly differ in placement, as many items are hand-crafted.

Minor irregularities in finish, handwork, or detailing are not considered defects. These are part of the uniqueness of hand-crafted products.
